Things to do at Wander Ridge
At Wander Ridge guests have ~60 acres of pristine wilderness to explore. Guests are free to explore more than 1 mile of trails, relax on the deck while taking in the beauty of the laurel highlands or use the creeks and streams that flow through the property.
Hiking Trails
At wander ridge we have ~ 1 mile of hiking trails that loop through the property. The white trail has been marked with paint. The trails will take you over small streams and along Indian Creek. At the edge of the property is a small mountain stream with a picturesque waterfall hidden under mountain laurels. If the water levels are down in Indian Creek adventurous guests can make their way across to link up to the Indian Creek Valley Trail a 19 mile long hiking and biking trail that traverses all the way to the Youghiogheny River. Indian Creek
Indian Creek offers a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Anglers flock to the creek for its excellent fishing opportunities, including trout and bass. Canoeing and kayaking are popular ways to explore the scenic waterway, while swimming provides a refreshing escape on hot days. Additionally, the creek is a peaceful setting allowing visitors to enjoy the soothing sounds of flowing water throughout their stay.
